These terms outline the conditions for hiring BBQ equipment from Ember Crate Hire (“we”, “our”, “us”). By confirming a booking, you agree to the following.
All bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation is issued once payment or deposit has been received through our approved method. Prices include basic cleaning but exclude fuel and transport unless specified.
Equipment can be collected from 18 Albert Road, Southsea, Portsmouth PO5 2QL or delivered locally by prior arrangement. Items must be returned by the agreed time. Late returns may incur an additional day’s hire charge.
All items leave our premises clean and functional. Clients are expected to return equipment in reasonable condition with major residues removed. Normal signs of use are accepted, but damage due to neglect or misuse will result in repair or replacement costs.
Hirers must follow the supplied safety notes and local fire regulations. BBQs should never be used indoors, in tents, or near flammable materials. We are not liable for injury, fire, or property loss resulting from unsafe operation or failure to follow the guide. The hirer is responsible for supervising use at all times.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before collection receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a handling fee to cover preparation time. If weather conditions become unsuitable, we can transfer your booking to another date where possible.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the hire. We do not accept claims for consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Personal data collected during hire is processed in accordance with our Data & Privacy policy. By hiring from us, you consent to necessary record-keeping for administration and insurance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England.
